Rumor has it that a new version of La Hiena is being prepared by Telemundo. Several actors and actresses who are being eyed to be part of said project are Marlene Favela, Jorge Salinas, Sebastian Zurita, and Adela Noriega.
La Hiena is a Mexican telenovela which was aired in 1973. It tells the story of Rita Hernandez, who married Abelardo Solis for his money. He has a daughter, Isabel Solis. Rita decides to kill her husband to take his place in business. The original telenovela starred Amparo Rivelles and Carlos Bracho.
