The Colombian television company RCN is currently preparing a remake of Guillermo Restrepo's "Los Ricos Tambien Lloran." The telenovela narrates the story of a rich family (Los Ricos) that has always been accustomed to having much, and one day finds out that they lost everything.
The story has been adapted in Mexico in 1979 with Veronica Castro, Rogelio Guerra and Christian Bach and is generally considered as one of the most popular telenovelas.
