Thalia's 2000 hit, Rosalinda, sets out to reconquer the hearts of Filipinos soon on GMA's adaptation of the Mexican telenovela. Topbilled by newcomer Carla Abellana as Rosalinda and Geoff Eigenmann as Fernando Jose, the telenovela is slated to air on July 2009. The cast also includes Katrina Halili, Sheryl Cruz, Ariel Rivera, Gary Estrada, Roderick Paulate, Sherilyn Reyes, Sheena Halili, Mike Tan, Ryza Cenon, Mart Escudero, Marco Alcaraz,
Gian Magdangal, and Krystal Reyes.

The telenovela tells the story of Rosalinda, a poor but beautiful flower vendor who falls in love with Fernando Jose, a handsome man from high society. Even though their worlds seem far apart, they unearth dark secrets from their families' past that link them to each other's lives in ways they never imagined possible. Together, the two of them surmount obstacles that ultimately lead them to proving that their love for each other is pure and true.

Rosalinda is the highest-rating telenovela of all time in the Philippines. After the initial airing of the telenovela, it was aired thrice, first on ABS-CBN, and the next two times on GMA.
